The truth is that I used to not like braiding bananas. I had a condescending attitude towards them. They seemed unattractive to me, maybe foreign, not part of me. I couldn't believe that one day I would start a shooting course that is all bananas! Over time I fell more and more in love with the wildness of the banana stalks, the special atmosphere in the plantations and the abundance of techniques that working with the banana allows. I packed all this goodness into a single and special course

Course around Kinneret
Each meeting will take place on a different shore of the Sea of Galilee.
We will get to know special and hidden beaches and collect banana leaves in the orchards around the Kinneret.
Participants come to the course from all over the country.
It is possible and recommended to share the ride.
The meetings include gathering, immersion in the Sea of Galilee, a shared meal and, of course, shooting.
What will we learn in the meetings?
Each session will be dedicated to a different technique and will end with a basket or braid. Baskets, a small mat, a sitting cushion, a hat and maybe some sandals are thrown together. You can choose from several options and score to your liking.
Meetings on the banks of the Sea of Galilee have a special atmosphere. Sometimes it's so pleasant and beautiful and you just want to be in a feminine and relaxed atmosphere and rest. There is no rush. There is no need to finish and score. You will be able to be fully present, at the exact pace for you.
The bananas will wait patiently for you :)
How is the course going?
The course includes 4 sessions and will be held on Tuesdays once a week or two weeks,
from 09:30 to 15:30
On the edge of the Kinneret.
The meetings are held in an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. There will be between 6 and 12 participants in the course.
Guest teachers will visit the course to support the learning process and share their knowledge and love for bananas.

No previous experience is necessary - step by step you enter together into the ancient world of basket weaving. Our group is small and intimate and allows for relaxed learning and a feeling of a tribe.
Collecting and making baskets are one of life's pleasures.
Be warned, this is an addictive craft :)
