Festive Shavuot workshop
When I saw for the first time the wheat that will open a tower my heart melted.
How much beauty and delicacy there is in the shibols, they tell an ancient story about another era.
A story about loving hands that sowed and nurtured, about the heart that prays for rain and harvest days.
He will open a breeder of heritage varieties of wheat. Ancient, rich and rare varieties.
The wheat seeds will be opened by a miller into flour and baked into gourmet bread. All this is happening in Yiftach's bakery in the Jezreel Valley.
In the workshop we will get to know Yeftah and the rare wheat varieties he grows.
We will hear interesting wheat stories, we will be honored and taste the bread that a baker will make, we will get to know the qualities of different varieties of wheat
And beautiful ornamental braids were caught from them.
There is also the option of purchasing additional oats to continue shooting at home.

Traditionally, harvest days are accompanied by braiding. The wheat braids are part of an ancient ritual of blessing and thanksgiving for abundance. This is an opportunity to touch, expect a special evening and a quiet time to experience, get excited, learn and take home beautiful decorative braids.
The meeting will take place at the Yeftah bakery in Su'ad, in the Jezreel Valley, not far from Kevan and Harduf. The exact location and additional details will be sent after registration.

No previous experience is necessary - enter together step by step into the ancient world of archery. Our group is small and intimate and allows for relaxed learning and a feeling of a tribe.
Collecting and making baskets are one of life's pleasures.
Be warned, this is an addictive craft (!!) :)
