An evening full of lavender
Botanica invites you to an evening of introductions to lavender as the king/queen of medicinal plants
We will host Anat Azenkot who will come to us from the Upper Galilee. Anat specializes in collecting plants for basket weaving, with a deep connection to the unique properties of each plant.
In our workshop we will get to know lavender as a plant for gathering that is also used for food, healing, relaxation, purification, cosmetics and of course for weaving ornamental braids
What will we do in the workshop?
Meet, get to know each other, slow down and take time for ourselves :)
We will get to know the unique properties of lavender
A beautiful ornamental lavender braid is woven
We will get to know the uses of lavender in home cosmetics
Let's understand what is between essential oil and hydrosol
We will prepare and taste lavender tea infusion
We will experience together the connection and calmness of lavender
The workshop will be held in a botanic shop
in the botanical garden in Jerusalem.

No previous experience is necessary - step by step we enter together into the ancient world of collecting and shooting. Our group is small and intimate and allows for relaxed learning and a feeling of a tribe.
Collecting and making baskets are one of life's pleasures.
Be warned, this is an addictive craft (!!) :)
